Chairman's Christmas Walk, 27th December
2008. The
Parish Chairman's Christmas Walk, the
Five
Farms Walk, will take place on 27th December 2008, commencing at 10.45
a.m. starting and leaving from The Jolly Woodman pub. It lasts around 1.5
hours and covers a distance of around 2.8 miles. All welcome to either
walk off the Christmas turkey or join us for lunch in the pub afterwards.
Last year's walk attracted a good number of residents. This is an
excellent opportunity for people to explore parts of our local countryside
they may not previously have discovered. As always, this is followed by an
optional lunch in the pub afterwards, so if you want to eat, order this
before the walk sets off.
Wear suitable footwear in case it's
muddy.
