The following core values set the foundation for Burnham Parish Council, providing a clear direction for everything that happens within our day to day operations. Through applying these values into our decision making, we hope to achieve the aim of our vision statement.

Recognising the community has a right to be included in decisions that affect them. Our work will be community focused; working collaboratively with councillors, staff, partners and everybody in the community to understand and proactively respond to the changing needs of the people we serve.

We will develop a transparent culture with information and build visibility on our decisions and actions to build trust.

 

Integrity:

We uphold the highest standards of integrity in all that we do.

 

Respectful:

We will be respectful of each other, valuing the uniqueness and diversity of each individual and group within the community.

We work in collaboration and promote positive communication and creativity.
