Defibrillators

Burnham Parish Council manages and maintain's Eight Public Access Defibrillators. Their locations are shown in the photographs below. We have also included a link to the location on Google Maps.

Burnham Parish Council would like to thank Thames Valley Heartbeat (link:https://thamesvalleyheartbeat.org.uk/) for their kind funding support towards the two new defibrillators at the Bee and Burnham Youth Club. We would also like to thank all of the local businesses and organisations who kindly agreed to host a defibrillator on their property.

 

In the event of an emergency CALL 999, the ambulance service will direct you to the nearest device, if applicable. The defibrillator is a fully mobile unit, which is kept inside a heated cabinet to ensure that it is kept in full working order. Remove the defibrillator from the cabinet. When the defibrillator is opened, full instructions are given, both spoken and with diagrams. No formal training is necessary for using them.
