Casual Vacancy - Pitchside Supervisor
Weekend Casual Pitchside Café Supervisor
Burnham Parish Council is seeking a reliable, friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team at George Pitcher Memorial Ground.
The successful candidate will supervise the weekend operation of the Pitchside Café, providing a welcoming and professional service to visitors and users of the ground.
The Role
The role involves overseeing the day-to-day running of the café during weekend opening periods, ensuring high standards of customer service, cleanliness, food hygiene and presentation.
Key responsibilities include:

Supervising the café during weekend opening periods.

Providing a friendly and professional service to customers.

Preparing and serving food and refreshments.
-
Operating the till and processing cash and card payments.

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.

Monitoring and replenishing stock as required.

Preparing the café for opening and securing it after service.

Following all relevant Council, health and safety and food hygiene procedures.

Responding professionally to customer enquiries.

Working positively with Council staff, volunteers and facility users.

Previous experience in café, catering, hospitality or customer service would be an advantage, although relevant training will be provided.
Position Details
Pay: £14.30 per hour
Location: George Pitcher Memorial Ground
Working Pattern: Casual weekend work, depending on café opening hours and events
