Burnham Park Update

The community that entered Burnham Park yesterday with their caravans have now left the site. They departed a little after 3pm this afternoon. The Council had just instructed ballifs to carry out a common law removal tomorrow morning, which will not now be needed.

We appreciate the support of the community whilst we addressed this sensitive issue.

Our focus is now on clean up of the park. The general waste in the park will be removed tomorrow morning at the latest. 

We must advise residents to keep away from the trees around the border of the park, and to keep their pets away from that area too, as there is waste there that requires specialist removal. We are taking steps to address this as soon as possible.
