Burnham has a wide range of social and community groups that meet regularly around the village or nearby.

Friendly and active club for men and women of all ages who care about their community. Varied events and activities.

Burnham Health Promotion Trust is a Burnham based charity, supporting the local community. BHP offer a variety of activities and services in and around Burnham, Bucks. See the website for details on projects and timetable pages for more information on each one.

The Maidenhead Advertiser has a "Burnham News" section with some great articles and social media posts dedicated to events and news in Burnham.

Burnham Neighbourhood Watch improve community safety, support street members, reduce fear of crime, tackle specific local problems, look out for vulnerable neighbours, support the police and issue a weekly Community News Bulletin. Wendy and Andrew Strathdee are the Joint Area Coordinators for Burnham.

Burnham URC seeks to be a local fellowship within the United Reformed Church providing for the spiritual needs both of those within the Reformed tradition and those of other, or no, traditions.

 

Burnham URC offer a warm invitation to join them for worship and other activities. Details of their worship and regular activities are found on their website.

In 2016 BCA has been working for 50 years for the benefit of the whole community in the civil parish of Burnham in Buckinghamshire and its immediate neighbourhood.

 

BCA provides two important transport services, the Good Neighbour Scheme and the community minibus.

 

BCA is run entirely by volunteers.

The Burnham Village portal is designed to give quick and easy access to everything that is happening in Burnham High Street and the surrounding areas in Buckinghamshire.

Burnham Village community members who are involved in furthering our village ties with Burnham’s twin town, St Denis de l'Hotel in the Loire Valley, France.

 

They aim to enhance cultural ideas and understanding between Burnham Village community members and the residents of St Denis de l'Hotel as well as forge new friendships and develop inter-community ties.

The Legion is here to help members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families.

The Burnham Branch are planning to work with seven local schools and youth organisations to create a series of engaging digital exhibitions and educational resources that will help explore these important war stories with the wider community.

The North East Burnham Residents Association (NEBRA) was formed in 2017 to represent the residents of The Fairway, Green Lane, Hazelhurst Road, Kimbers Drive, Linkswood Road, and other roads in the area. NEBRA was formed following numerous contentious planning applications in North Burnham in recent years, with the goals of fostering community spirit and protecting the distinctive and cherished character of our open plan, spacious, leafy neighbourhoods.

The BBA is keen to reinvigorate and work together with all businesses in Burnham to promote the village in a positive way.

 

The committee meets bi-monthly with one AGM in May each year.
