Cllr Zoe Gardiner

Biography: I have lived in Burnham since 1967 with only a couple of years away for work commitments.
I attended St Bernards Convent and Brigidine Convent for my school years. I then attended Langley College to study Secretarial Skills and a couple of years later attended ‘Contance Spry’ finishing school.
Approximately 1981 I won a trophy at Burnham Tennis Association.
Since the time I was able to walk, I enjoyed many years dressing up bikes and floats for Burnham Carnival.
In 1991 my life had a dramatic change when my daughter was born due to negligence.
I now have 2 daughters with Learning Disabilities and enjoy my time caring for them, and caring for the older members of my family too (including an elderly neighbour)
I would love to follow in my late Parents footsteps and help the people of Burnham.
I will be seen often walking my dog and friend’s dogs in Burnham Park, cycling the streets of Burnham on my daughter’s wheelchair bike or dancing at Band Nights.
I play the accordion and pre-covid, I played at day centres and other establishments.
