We are currently gathering information on the History of the Pond at Lent Green Lane, to collate for the information board we plan to install at the Pond.
If you, or anyone you know, has any memories of the pond in days gone by - particularly of the period when it changed from being 'Viccy Pond' (the vicarage pond) to being the Pond next to the Lent Green Lane development, or of when the ducks arrived, please email our Clerk, Adam, at clerk@burnhamparish.gov.uk. Similarly if you have any old maps that show the pond and can send us over an image that would also be great!

It highlights a strong effort to involve residents in documenting key changes to the pond—such as its transition from “Viccy Pond” to its current identity and the arrival of the ducks—so that an accurate, meaningful information board can be created for future visitors and generations.
