New water fountain installed at GPMG

Burnham Parish Council is pleased to announce the installation of a water fountain on the side of the Pavillion at the George Pitcher Memorial Ground.

As well as helping site users stay hydrated, the water fountain will hopefully reduce the single-use of plastic bottles, helping the environment.

The Parish Clerk has sampled the water and reports that it tastes very good. However they also report that due to the challenge of water pressure the bottle filler is quite slow, and the drinking tap is rather fast. As we can't increase or decrease the speed of one without doing the same to the other, we advise anyone trying it out to be patient with the bottle filler, and stand to the side when operating the drinking tap!
