phonebox at Littleworth Common

We are very pleased to report that work to the Parish Council owned former BT phonebox at Littleworth Common has now been completed. 

The phonebox was acquired from BT some years ago when the phone was decommissioned, but plans to improve it were unfortunately delayed, and it had fallen into a poor condition.

The Council's Grounds Team carried out the first stage of works, including painting the phone box and replacing old signage, earlier this year. They have now added planters with heather and ivy, and some local residents have very kindly volunteered to help with the watering. 

This is of course only one of a number of things the Council is working on. However we are really pleased to see the phone box looking attractive again, and adding to our local environment, and we greatly appreciate the efforts of everyone involved.
