Sink hole in Stomp Road: update

We have been in contact with Bucks Council about the sink hole since yesterday, along with the Clerk of Taplow who has been very helpful. We're pleased to say that Bucks Council have taken this seriously. The latest update from Bucks Council is:

"We have a crew carrying out the excavation and investigation on site at the moment.  Hopefully this will resolve the issue. If further investigation is needed then the road will still need to remain closed. If this is the case then we'll ensure that a more robust closure is put in place to discourage any overrun from motorists."
