Theatre in the park wows Burnham audiences again!

Last Friday night saw the return of 'Theatre in the Park' - bringing open air theatre to Burnham Park.

It was gorgeous weather in beautiful surroundings for the second year in a row, and the audience was rewarded with an amazing performance of 'The Wife' by the awesome Rude Mechanical Theatre Company. The Rudes wowed audiences last year with 'Gentle Harry's Farm' and it was great to see them back in Burnham, and in front of double the crowd!

The show had everything: song, dance, laughter, love, tears, wigs, costumes and nuns, and a great time was had by all!

The show continues on its tour around the country, and we very strong recommend it to anyone who gets the chance to see it!

We also hope to bring more outdoor theatre performances to Burnham in the future!
