Tree work is taking place today at the pond at Lent Green Lane

Tree work is taking place today at the pond at Lent Green Lane. This is part of Burnham Parish Council taking over management of the pond from Bucks Council, to better look after it for the benefit of the community and of wildlife. The tree work has been carefully planned and agreed with tree experts, and with our pond group made up of residents, wildlife and pond experts, community organisations, and the Council. The Friends of the Pond, representing residents close to the pond, are very active and involved in this process 

There will be more updates later as we add benches, an information board, safety equipment and more around the pond in the coming weeks and months.
